The DEWALT 1.25 HP variable speed Compact Router lets you determine the speed you need for the application at hand. A low, contoured grip close to the work surface gives you excellent precision and control, no matter whether you’re making small bevel cuts or large edge profiles. The heavy duty, soft starting motor features full time electronic feedback that maintains motor speed through the cut. A depth-adjustment ring provides controlled bit depth changes to 1/64 in.

I’ve been using thison the job fir several months, absolutely amazing, does the job of rounding my window casing sills as well as running my chamfers, it makes a mess, but no cords, enough power to complete any job. I own 4 and do not recheck any bits. Would absolutely recommend

Purchased this item for exclusive use as a milling router for completion of my AR-15 80% Lower Receivers. Used with the 5D Tactical Pro Jig for completing lower receivers, it is an absolute blessing to have and extremely easy to use. This is the 5D Tactical’s choice of router and after milling 2 80%er’s, I can see why! I do some amateur woodwork and this router is more that adept to make your work look professional. Trust me, I need all the help I could get in that area. Extremely easy to use and fantastic size and handling. Well worth the pricing and portability. Used it to mill a little project and it worked like a charm. East to adjust after each pass and held the adjustment although I did have to readjust the speed a couple times but my hands were the culprits. Not my first DeWalt and certainly not the last.

I have yet to use this DEWALT DWP611 router, but it came highly recommended as the router of choice by others. Using a part specific jig and bits, this router will be used to mill out 80% AR lower receivers. The router itself looks to be well built and heavy duty…In addition rebuild parts are available if the brushes or bearings wear out over time.

I purchased my DeWalt Palm Router a little over a month ago with a flush trim bit and a 1/4″ straight bit. It is being used to help create an NCO Induction Archway for my Army Reserve unit. If I had not purchased this tool, I would still be hand sawing the paneling. I think it is a great tool to own.
