The DEWALT DWS713 10 in. Compound Miter Saw has a 15 Amp motor to drive 5,000 RPM, delivering extended power and durability. This 10-in miter saw features a stainless steel miter detent plate and miter lock knob with detent latch. This allows the miter saw to deliver repeatable accuracy and durability with easy adjustments. Tall sliding fences support 4-1/2 in. of crown molding vertically nested. Its lightweight design and built-in carry handle help make this a portable miter saw you can easily move around the jobsite. This 10-in compound miter saw is backed by DEWALT 3-year limited warranty for your additional peace of mind

I have other DeWalt products and have been very satisfied with the quality and performance of them. So when I decided to replace my old Delta miter saw I naturally look to DeWalt first. The model number I bought is DWS713. I make a lot of miter cuts so I liked the way you are able to adjust the cut angle to get it just right. The first thing I tested was the accuracy of the cut out of the box. It was great but if I ever need to adjust it I know I can easily. The one complaint I have is the vacuum attachment is not a standard size. I will need to make an adapter to secure the vacuum hose to the machine.

Nice saw, I like the way the blade alignment is adjusted. Did not like it at first, but have learned to like it. Light, easy to use. Hold down clamp is horrible, shame on dewalt for including such a piece of junk, they don’t even make it any more. BUT…the Bessey clamp number GTR16B6 fits the holes in the back perfectly and works awesome, so for about $20 you can dump the dewalt clamp and get one that fits snug and is easy to adjust.
