The Miter Stand worked as expected.

This makes using the saw easy to setup, use and breakdown in a very short period. The Stand is definitely made me feel more comfortable when using the saw and completing repeatable straight cuts.

Every thing arrived on time and together that Dewalt miter saw is awesome

I have been using this stand for well over two years and is is a great piece of equipment. It’s very stable and doesn’t wobble at all. Moving it is a little cumbersome but just take your time. The only real issue that I’ve had is with the sliding/adjustable material supports/stops. The cheap little lock down knob was worthless. It’s a little two sided knob that didn’t last but just a few months before both sides cracked a fell apart. I use these a lot and also found that getting my large fingers in to turn the little two sided knob was frustrating at the least. Dewalt should have spent another dollar and supplied some wheel like knobs. I replaced my broken knobs with a round one with finger slots. They work great and lock down very easy and secure.

I like the saw as is powerful, good blade and enough controls for its price. Also the brand name shows in its quality.

Well built and good for the price. You do need to be careful when making multiple cuts the same size. There can be some play in the stop bracket.

this was a gift and the recipient loved it.

Works great but does not always cut a 5 inch trim board in one cut.

Over all I am mostly satisfied with the saw. However there area few things that I am dissapointed in Dewalt for changing from the saw I purchased about 15 years ago of the same model. This new saw has a smaller base, smaller table and no board support wings. All better features that resulted in the old saw weighing about 12lbs more and being more stable on the bench. I also don’t understand the safety switch on the trigger. Completely unnecessary as the trigger location alone is a very good safety feature without an annoying little additional safety switch. I would be happier if Dewalt had maintained the old style construction and charged more for the saw instead of making a cheaper version of the saw at the same price as the old one. I have been a diehard Dewalt user for the past 20 years and own more that 15 different tools by Dewalt. But I will look for alternatives if the cheaper construction continues in other tools they manufacture.
