Description
The DWS716 12 in. Double-Bevel Compound Miter Saw is powered by a 15 Amp motor that drives 3,800 RPM to deliver extended power and durability. This saw features a stainless steel miter detent plate with 14 positive stops and cam miter lock system that provides repeatable accuracy and durability with easy adjustments. Tall sliding fences support 6-1/2 in. of base molding vertically and 6-5/8 in. of crown molding vertically nested. High efficiency dust duct is concentrated at the point of cut for maximum collection. Lightweight design and built-in carry handle for portability.

It’s everything you think it is. Haven’t used the bevel cuts yet, but all other cuts were nearly perfect out of the box. Nice trigger start, nice saw all around, not so great blade installed, so get a better blade and you’ll be all set.

I’ve been running Dewalt for about 21 years. 22 years ago I bought a Rigid cordless set drill went out. 6 months of trying to get it repaired I gave up. Had bought a Dewalt drill 1 month after , needed for job. I still have the drill. It’s been retired but retired working. That’s why I buy Dewalt. The cordless set I have now is about 10 years old.
