The DWS716 12 in. Double-Bevel Compound Miter Saw is powered by a 15 Amp motor that drives 3,800 RPM to deliver extended power and durability. This saw features a stainless steel miter detent plate with 14 positive stops and cam miter lock system that provides repeatable accuracy and durability with easy adjustments. Tall sliding fences support 6-1/2 in. of base molding vertically and 6-5/8 in. of crown molding vertically nested. High efficiency dust duct is concentrated at the point of cut for maximum collection. Lightweight design and built-in carry handle for portability.

Used this with a Dewalt 716XPS Miter Saw. Bought it because I don’t have a proper workbench, so this made it easy to set up in the driveway. The stand is quick to set up and surprisingly sturdy. Well worth it if you don’t have a full workbench/counter or need a portable stand to work outside.

I have been using this stand for well over two years and is is a great piece of equipment. It’s very stable and doesn’t wobble at all. Moving it is a little cumbersome but just take your time. The only real issue that I’ve had is with the sliding/adjustable material supports/stops. The cheap little lock down knob was worthless. It’s a little two sided knob that didn’t last but just a few months before both sides cracked a fell apart. I use these a lot and also found that getting my large fingers in to turn the little two sided knob was frustrating at the least. Dewalt should have spent another dollar and supplied some wheel like knobs. I replaced my broken knobs with a round one with finger slots. They work great and lock down very easy and secure.

Is a great product for my miter saw. I am constructing a deck out of composite material and cutting 20 foot long boards is easier then carrying them into the garage for cutting. This stand is light weight and easy to fold for transporting.

This is a great miter saw stand for managing long pieces of trim work with a miter saw, and for Hardie plank siding with a shear. It is heavy duty with the extension arms made of steel square tube; I like that they extend and retract with minimal effort and can lock into place. The whole stand sets up a breaks down easily, and is great for mobile work locations. When I first got it, I thought the stand was too long, but have since adapted and have allocated appropriate space when storing and transporting. I recognized the length is necessay to house the extention arms.
