The DWS716XPS 12 in. Double-Bevel Compound Miter Saw is powered by a 15 Amp motor that drives 3,800 RPM to deliver extended power and durability. Integrated CUTLINE LED work light system provides the 12 in. miter saw with an adjustment-free cut line indication for accuracy and visibility. This electric compound miter saw features a stainless steel miter detent plate with 14 positive stops. A cam miter lock system delivers repeatable accuracy and durability with easy adjustments. Tall sliding fences support 6-1/2 in. of base molding vertically and 6-5/8 in. of crown molding vertically nested. High-efficiency dust duct is concentrated at the point of cut for maximum collection. This dual-bevel miter saw has a lightweight design and built-in carry handle for portability. The DWS716XPS Double-Bevel Miter Saw Kit includes a 12 in. miter saw blade, blade wrench, dust bag, and material clamp.

This saw has been used for a lot of work, I have it mounted to a special bench in my shop that provides 10 feet of table space on each side to support long pieces of wood at saw table level and with a Rocker Jawhorse and table it moves to the job site easily. Love the fact I can cut multiple angles and the blades are easy to change.

The only reason for good and not excellent is the fact that Dewalt only included one hold down clamp. For that price point they should have included 2 clamps.

This thing is mint! It cuts smooth and straight. I loved the stops for the crown molding settings. It makes cutting crown so fast. I hope to have this for many years of projects. Next project is prefinished oak hardwood flooring.

I own a roofing & restoration company and this saw has made my jobs much less daunting, especially when doing lots of interior trim work! My previous saw was a 10″ single-bevel that I had been using for years. Every time I would go to a hardware store (several times a week) that is a Dewalt retailer, I found myself walking by this saw each time and considered purchasing it but was hesitant simply due to at the time, my current miter saw had 100% functionable and… the price. Low and behold, not only was it worth the money but due to all the features (bevels, RPM’s, miter detent plate, cross cut capacity, slide, etc) of this saw, it’s nearly cut my interior trim work time in half. From crown molding & quarter round to fascia board and soffit, this saw does it all! Highly reccomend this saw. If you intend on using this saw several times a week and move it from jobsite to jobsite, it’s definitely not a laundry basket full of clothes but I can’t knock the performace and features of this beast due to the weight. Great Job DeWALT!

Saw blade change is a little bit difficult, but nothing major. Would definitley recommend this saw to anyone who is looking for a long lasting, durable mitre saw.

This miter saw works perfect for cutting hardwood floors. It makes every cut to perfection. If you make a mistake with this saw it is the operator not the saw. I still need to install baseboard. I know this saw can make perfect 45 or 90 cuts. Make installing base board a breeze!
