The DEWALT 15 Amp 12 in. Sliding Compound Miter Saw is driven by a powerful motor for advanced cutting power in a compact, lightweight design. With extended bevel and miter capacities, this saw powers through dimensional lumber and molding at angles up to 50ۜ° left and 60° right for versatility. Tall sliding fences support crown molding up to 7-1/2 in. nested, base molding up to 6-1/2 in. vertically against the fence while easily sliding out of the way for bevel cuts.

I have had this saw less than a week and I am extremely disappointed in the dust collection capability. It’s advertised as collecting 75% of the dust. Ok, I thought hook it up to a shop vac and it will be GTG! Nope. The rubber at the intake is so flimsy, the suction from the shop vac sucks it into the port, blocking the tube. And the plastic tube is two pieces and leaks along the seam. My old Kobalt with the shop vac was 90%. For 600 bucks, I expected better dust collection. Other than that, this saw is fantastic! Come on Dewalt, you are better than this.

This stand made it very easy to initially setup and attach the Dewalt miter saw. Once attached, the stand has been very sturdy during usage. It is also easy to attach and remove the miter saw so you can lower the legs and store the stand until it’s needed.

The saw is great so far but the assembly I will give only 3 star. Pictures are terrible and the method to change blades is not that intuitive for layman. It’s funky on how you have to push the guard out of the way and they don’t explain it very well. That’s my only complaint.

Pros: Sturdy, easy set-up and tear-down, gives consistent repetitive cuts.Cons: The material supports and stops are where this equipment falls short. They’re made of flimsy stamped sheet metal and not easy to adjust, though once set up, give consistent cuts.For the money, it’s a keeper.

I don’t know if you grew up like me where dad used a circular saw for everything! To thick just turn it over, angle just mark it with the square, you name it! So I never deviated from my upbringing. Until that day the 780 just happened to venture in my life. It’s almost ridiculous how easy stuff is now with every cut! It’s a torquey monster and she eats it all even cruising thru 4×4 posts. Angle cuts are a breeze and with the blade light dropping that line on there It makes cuts quick and easy. Best part is is my lil shop vac tube fits right in back so I have zero mess. Winning
