I’ve had this radio for almost a year now, and it’s the best job site radio out there. It has awesome sound, great bass. I’m giving it 5 stars primarily for the sound quality, but there a few things that are not ideal about this radio. Number one being the compartment on the top. The opening mechanisms are not the best quality of this unit. You have to pull the two tabs together on one side while prying up with the other hand. You have to repeat the process on the other side too. It’s not the worst, but not ideal. Another issue is the battery compartment. If you stand the radio on the battery side, sometimes the battery will get disconnected. One last thing would be the power cord/charging cord. On the older radios the cord was attached which I liked, on this one it is detachable. After having the detachable cord, I prefer that over the fixed one, some may not though. Overall, I really like the radio and would recommend it to anyone!

This radio is excellent. I purchased the newest 2.0 version but, it was a reject. Something was wrong with the woofers. So I decided to buy the 1.0 version. It works wonderful. No complaints.

Great sound for any radio (especially a job site). If they had made the storage compartment in the middle just a LITTLE bigger, the thing could hold 3 2-amp batteries. As it is, it only holds 1 battery (2/4 amp) in the charging dock. Its still a sweet unit but they missed the mark by about 1/2”.
