I put my 12″ compounder on it. There was no reason to buy a another full stand for the saw as I already had the 6′ from DeWalt. This one is sturdy and presents a much more compact package with the already very large saw. The fact that the mounts are the same make it all “scaleable.”I work out of historic (small) garage that I have refurbished and space matters. I do wood working as a hobby after leaving the construction trades decades ago. My saw set up is overkill…

Very sturdy. If you have 2 of these, they attach together. The handles on these horses seem like a good idea, but they are not well thought out, especially considering the fact that DeWalt touts that 2 can be attached for portability. I have a 12″ chop saw that, once I figured out how easily it can be attached and detached, lives on the horse in my shop.

Great saw horse/ chop saw stand. Very sturdy. Doesn’t have the groove to hold a work support which probably makes it lighter. Very light and sturdy. I made a work support with a chop saw bracket.

Had one and ordered another one.

Compact easy to set-up and transport. Purchased it to be a small work stand for my miter saw. I do a lot of work outside, boat yards and my Camp. After seeing it, purchased a second one to have a pair of heavy duty saw horses, when I wasn’t using it as saw stand. This should be in store at HD.

I bought this stand to use for smaller jobs where I would not be cutting longer lengths, particularly a flooring job. This is AS STUDY AS the larger stand, but weighs about half as much. It works great when you are dealing with shorter length materials.

These work stands are far superior to anything else I have seen. I purchased a set for myself and was so pleased I got another. If you are considering a set of these you can’t go wrong you will be satisfied for sure.

Built to last and very portable. Worth the money over the competition

By far the best set of saw horses I have found. Worth every penny when compared to the convoluted lightweight stamped steel ones that everyone sells now. I think HD or Dewalt should offer these in a set at a pair price discount.Only way these will fail is if I don’t lock them up on the jobsite…..I am afraid they could get an extra pair of legs and walk off!!

Same quality as the miter saw stand… We’ve had the same miter saw stand for 15 years and it’s still holding strong… definitely worth the extra $! Dewalt is always improving their products… strong and reliable

If this had the extender capabilities like the larger model has it would have been given 5 stars.

First let me say, you only get one stand, I’m not sure why they show two stands other than to demonstrate they can be used as saw horse. This is anice little set up and dewalt gave some thought to it’s design, it does accept the standard DW7238 brackets to mount your miter saw in case you need to set up for some quick cuts. The top also has provisions for mounting a sacrificial top so you don’t damage the aluminum. The stand has slots to accept the dewalt track saw clamps so you can clamp material to the top for cutting. For the price it’s a nice set up, but if you just need saw horses, that a fair bit of money for a pair.
