I received this a week or so ago as a sample to try. Was impressed with the lightweight of it and the capability of adding other attachments. Did real good on the ground stuff i need removed and a light trim of overhang on the fences , not as much on denser overgrowth. Would recommend

Starts right up, I am having fun with it. I am glad I bought it because it was lighter then the competitors. Goes thru 3/8 inch easy. Above that takes a couple of whacks.

This Dewalt 27cc 2-Cycle Gas Brushcutter with Attachment Capability works like a dream. You can get your brush cut in no time. It is light weight. The blade is super sharp and cuts well. We have a meadow that we cut down in the fall and this tool does a great job! We got the job done quickly. You can put other attachments on this model. I would recommend it!

This trimmer works fantastically well. I love that the shaft is removable to allow for a while plethora of attachments. I feel like it is a little underpowered for heavy brush, but cutting light stuff is a breeze.

First of all design and Appearance are great, everything is close to reach. Easy to Start cold and one pull Start hot. Pull start is easy enough for an smaller person. Not a fan of push button kill switch too easy to touch, strap buckle brushed against and killed motor while using it. Strap doesn’t have a pad for shoulder little rough on skin. The Strap hook part to keep from un- hooking is too soft, it un-hooked three times in fifteen minutes. You have to really torque the motor to get blade turning to cut anything. Myself I dont like running a weed eater or Brush cutter that hard. Don’t know what I did to cause the blade to kill motor but, I dont think its good for motor stopping it that way. Will cut grass but not good its best for brush only. Vines can tangle blade and stop clutch from turning . Kind of heavy if you dont balance strap and handle just right. Give 5 stars for looks. 4 stars on performance. 2 stars on strap.

Got the DeWalt bush cutter.had a yard full of weeds and it cut the down like butter. Being gas powered it intimidated me by the power.so I had a neighbor run it for me.he said it ran really smoothed and had no problems at all with it doing what it need to do.

My husband has been wanting one of these DeWalt Brush cutters for a long time. We have 7 acres that need triming. This 2-cycle brush cutter does a fantastic job. It was easy to set up and prepare. It came with everything, complete instructions, adjustable strap, fuel, oil, locking bar to tighten or remove blade. As always DeWalt makes a great product.

The Dewalt 2-cycle gas brush cutter was the perfect tool used when clearing some land to set up a deer feeder and camera. It took care of the waist deep grasses in no time. I didn’t think the strap was the best, really need to find that sweet spot when adjusting the strap. Super happy to have this tool in my shed.

I received the Dewalt DXGST227BC 27cc two stroke about 3 weeks and have put it to the test. We have thick brush at our farm in Maryland .. It was hard to get to it as a woman with just my regular hedger . With the brush cutter and than the attachment I was able to edge along the farm line I haven’t been able to in years . I love this brand it is a well trusted brand, we have been looking for a trusted brand 2 cycle weed eater/brush eater and this one is perfect!
