The trimming is much easier with this Dewalt gas trimmer. Starts easily and designed for better gripping and movement with use. The straight shaft string trimmers are better than other designs. I had no problems using this product and didn’t take as long as it cut on the first pass.

After I got this and got it home, I had to try it out! I am in love!! It has made my yard look amazing! It works so great around the sidewalk where the grass grew unruly! It is super easy to use and not so heavy that my arms grew tired! It is truly amazing and can’t wait to use it again!

We were looking for a new trimmer to replace our old one and the Dewalt has exceeded our expectations. It was easy to use right out of the box. Trims easily with a nice clean edge with minimum effort. I was able to quickly trim our large corner lot with no problems. The trimmer is not heavy at all and the handle design makes it easy to maneuver in awkward places. I always wear safety glasses but I noticed that the guard really kept everything away from my face and it was not a problem to move quickly as I was trimming. I also that it was so much easier to use than some of the other trimmers I have had with super long cords that were so much heavier. Even noise-wise it seems quieter and not as loud as some of my other lawn equipment. Great trimmer. Must have for anyone that does their own lawn work. In comparison to other models, this is a great value for the performance you get. Dewalt is always a solid brand and I will continue to buy their products.

This Dewalt Trimmer is great. It was easy to put together and gets those hard areas where a mower won’t go. It trims great and it is not restrained by a cord. It came with the oil. I would recommend it to those that have hard to reach areas for cutting grass.

I’m very impressed with the Dewalt 2 cycle trimmer. It came packaged nicely, it even came with a jug of gas/oil. It was easy to put together took only a few minutes. The trimmer is the perfect length for my husband who is 6ft tall. It allows him to trim easily without having to bend over, hurting his back. It’s super easy to start and run. It trims and cuts very well. My husband used it around our property and was impressed with the trimmer. Our only complaint is that the motor is mtd. We feel it would be better quality with a different motor as in speaking to it’s longevity. We will see over time if it lasts. Other than that overall it’s a well made trimmer that easily does it’s job!

My Dewalt straight shaft trimmer is the best two cycle gas powered trimmer I have ever owned in my 50 years. I love doing my own yard and the way it looks when I am finished but for years I have hated weed earring and trimming. Bent shafts auto feeds and and starting have always been my nemesis. The Dewalt straight shaft trimmer starts easy and starts first try. It has excellent coverage areas for those spots your lower can’t hit. I have had many Dewalt products in the past; drills etc. They have always been great products and my only complaint is I didn’t buy their trimmer sooner. The quality and durability will hopefully make this the last trimmer I ever buy as it is lightweight with great coverage area and easy to start. I would highly recommend Dewalt trimmer for anyone looking for a trimmer.

We received this Dewalt 2-Cycle Gas Straight Shaft String Trimmer with Attachment Capability 2 weeks ago and it has been such an asset to have doing our fall clean-up and landscaping projects. Previously we had a trimmer with a cord and it was a pain to try to get it to extend to all areas of our property. The DXGST227SS 27cc 2-Cycle Gas Straight Shaft String Trimmer with Attachment Capability came in two parts that were very easy (even for me) to put together. It is easy to use and works well. My only complaint is that it is a bit heavier than what we are used to using, so your arms get tired faster than you expect. Other than that, I am very pleased with the trimmer.

Dewalt 2-Cycle Gas Straight Shaft String Trimmer with Attachment Capability works great! It is very easy to use and make weed eating a breeze. This Dewalt trimmer is very durable and is also nice quality. All you have to do is bump the head of trimmer for more string to release. You can cut 17 inch sections at a time, which helps make getting the job done faster. Assembly was simple and so was filling with gas and starting it.

First of all, the packaging is spot on, everything is in its place in the box, secure. Second, the unboxing and assembly is as easy as it gets, don’t even really need the instructions they make it so easy, anyone could do it. When it arrived I set it up with no problem and had it waiting on my husband when he got home. It comes with the weedeater oil! It’s a beautiful product, has good weight, and also handles very well! Would definitely recommend!

The dewalt 27cc 2cy le gas straight shaft string trimmer with attachment capability is an amazing addition to anyone’s lawn care equipment this string trimmer came very well packaged inside the box it came with a can of 50..1 gas oil mix so that was a bonus also the shield for when your cutting and the best part is it also comes with a strap to attach that makes it much easier while using after removing everything from the box we attached the head to the trimmer and that was very easy it slid right in and the best part is you can also buy extra attachments to help with what ever task you might be doing at the time the trimmer also comes already strung and also has a bump head so you can get straight to work after we got everything together we took the trimmer to our extremely big garden to chop everything and the trimmer went thru everything with ease so we moved on to the yard and around the sidewalks this trimmer did such an amazing job leaving everything look professional this trimmer has low vibration and sets and rest well in your hands no slipping and the strap helps you with moving around the yard spot to spot with ease overall the trimmer is not to heavy it does have a little weight to it but its not to bad i would most definitely recommend this to friends and family and i will be buying more attachments for my trimmer

The Dewalt Gas Straight Shaft String Trimmer is a very nicely crafted machine. Its easily assembled. It does take a mix of gas and 2 cycle oil. It comes with a premix which is pretty awesome. It also comes with an extra pack of two cycle enough to mix a gallon. It has a sleek and stylish look. It was very easy to start and keep going. It cuts great i like the fact that it has two sides of string instead of one. It definitely is the nicest lawn trimmer that ive ever owned. It also can detach the trimmer piece and can clip in other attachments such as a tree trimmer or till attachment. Its a very versatile piece of equipment. It even comes with a strap to put over your shoulder a nice little added touch i thought. Wish i would have gotten it sooner. Ive always thought Dewalt was a good brand so i had no doubts that it would be a great buy. Cant wait to use it next year. I will try to follow up on this review to let everyone know how it holds up over time. I would definitely recommend this product and its brand Dewalt. I was impressed by the product. Glade i have it.

I’ve used several different brands of weed eaters but none of them stand up to this one. Several things that stand out to me are the ease of starting, the power, comfort of the handles and the ease at which attachments can be interchanged. I could go on and on. If you haven’t figured it out by now I’m hooked on my DeWalt weed eater. Just like all their other products DeWalt has done their homework and put so much thought in development of this weed eater.
