I have two dogs who shed like crazy. A regular vacuum doesn’t stand a chance. I got this in hopes that it would be able to handle the quantity of fur without breaking down like my other vacuums have. It has been great! It isn’t difficult to use and I have had zero problems with clogging. I am very satisfied.

I saw this on a recent blog and got solid review so I thought I would order one. It is a tad out of my price range but I own a lot of Dewalt products. The power of this thing is incredible and could not believe the suction it has. I was able to pull in nails, large chunks of drywall and as much shavings as it could handle. The casters are like none other and glide across the floor. It is more than the Ridgid but of course it is dewalt brand and quality. would look to get the more portable one next.

Good suction. I like to use the bag so that I don’t have to clean the filter. I also use a Dust Deputy to collect saw dust; again keeping the filter clean. The only negative is the wide floor attachment will grab the floor with its powerful suction unless you keep the wand at the correct angle. The floor attachment should have bristles on both long sides not just one. It has a removable squeegee on the other side. I would still purchase it again. My old Craftsman vacuum is 25 years old and still works, gave it to my daughter, hopefully this one will last a long time.

I have owned several Shop Vac brand shop vacs in the past with motors that were rated up to 6.5hp so i was a little skeptical about purchasing this DeWalt vacuum with only a 5hp motor. When it arrived and i started to unbox it I was very surprised at the build quality of it and all of the attachments that were included. At this point I was ok with it having a little less hp than the other shop vacs i have previously owned. It looked and felt like something I would get years of good service from. Once I had everything assembled and I plugged it in to give it a try I was more than happy with the suction power this vacuum produces. It is either very much underrated at 5hp or the others in the past were very overrated at 6.5hp. I had never felt suction like this thing produces before today. A friend of mine was asking me what i thought of it and I told him that i thought it could pick the cat up off the floor! lol I would highly recommend this vacuum to anyone in the market for a good quality shop vac.
