Needed to replace my worn out 6.5″ 8 yr old saw blade. Saw use is basically to cut basic framing material and PT wood. After I switched out the blades these Diablo blades were like cutting through butter. And the end cuts were nicely smooth and clean. Yes, they were $13 for 2 blades, so lets see how long they last. I’ve always have taken care of my equipment and tools. Hope they last for a long time.

Cuts very well and the blade is durable. I found that soaking the blade in a pan full of Simple Green or any general purpose degreaser will remove the pine tar buildup. I doubt it’s effective as re sharpening but I noticed a considerable improvement. Good blade for the price.

Diablo is my go-to blade of choice. I cannot give you specifics on how they are made or what materials they use; but I can offer my experience. These blades seem to stay sharper for a longer time. The finish blades really do result in a nicer finished cut for trim, casing, and detail pieces. I have never had one of these warp, so I would assume their heat dissipation is a cut above (excuse the pun). I suppose there are blades that cost much more and may be better; however, I have been very pleased with DIABLO and will continue to use them.
