One of very few 6″ blades available for my trusty, but ancient Saw Boss circular saw. Used with a guide rail it made clean crosscut on maple plywood. Good blade!

If you still have a 6″ Porter Cable Saw Boss this is one of the few blades available to fit your handy little saw. Diablo is a quality blade made by Freud who has been known to make good blades for many years. I bought my 6″ saw years ago when they came out from PC because the blade is on the left side of the saw like a worm-drive and it’s a lot lighter & still very natural to cut with if you’re used to handling worm-drives. I think the availability of today’s powerful battery powered small saws probably killed the need for the 6″ saw boss.

I use my 6 in porter cable saw boss for Fine wood working The blades were not available locally so I ordered 2 blades. When cutting Finish grade Oak plywood I use a saw Guide and first make a KISS cut just barely cutting thru the top surface, then reset the depth follow up with a full depth cut. Excellent on both side of the wood no SPLINTERED EGDES EVEN ON CROSS CUTS.
