I used this blade on my Hitachi 12″ miter saw to install an engineered hardwood (bamboo) floor. This blade performed very well, providing very clean cuts. Cut after cut, from start to finish of the install, I was impressed that a 16 tooth blade could be so smooth. It lived up to the claims of the advertising. I expect to get much more service from this blade. It is a little more expensive than a carbide tip blade, but the thin kerf and outstanding performance was worth it for me. I am not a professional. I installed this floor in my own home as a diy-er, and I am very satisfied with the value and results.

So far the Diablo Pergo Blade has lived up to its reputation. Smooth, clean, cuts. I did a 130 sq ft room in Pergo Outlast – each cut was flawless and went through the material like butter.

I bought this blade while in the middle of a small project – two bedrooms, a small closet, and a walk-in closet. I originally purchased a DeWalt 80-tooth blade from a ‘different’ store. By the time I finished the small room and small closet it was getting difficult to cut the laminate. The blade was already dull. I researched for a better blade and found this one. None could be found locally so I had to order it. It arrived in a few days, in time for me to finish my project. I have nothing bad to say about the blade. It cut my laminate like it was butter. Ten times easier than the other blade. When I finished my project it was still cutting just as easily. No difference was noticed. Definitely worth the extra cost as I basically tossed $60 in the trash with the other blade. The negative was that the blade I received was used. It had obviously been mounted on a saw due to scratches in the paint that showed how it was scratched sliding the blade in and then the tell-tale circular scratches from it being mounted on a saw. The teeth themselves did not show obvious wear and I had to finish my project so I used the blade. How much use was on it before I got it? I have no idea, the teeth still didn’t show any obvious wear even after I used the blade. I can only assume someone bought the blade, did a job, and then returned the blade in its original packaging. This can easily been done because the packaging allows the blade to go back in and sealed. Without close inspection, no one will notice.

Excellent on Pergo.

This was a necessity with the Pergo I used. (XP…Haley Oak). I smoked my table saw blade after only about 16’ of ripping. The Freud crosscut an entire rooms worth of floor… still perfect

This blade is spectacular! Cuts like a hot knife through warm butter! Only giving it 4 stars due to the price. $70+ is a little much for a saw blade.

Utilizing this blade for engineered strand bamboo flooring. I have utilized this blade previously for similar flooring. The Janka hardness of this flooring is 5000 compared to oak which is about 1300. Over four times as hard!! Few rough edges on some miter cuts, but very rare, and nothing that has caused me to have waste. This is the only blade that will miter cut this flooring and not dull out quickly. This flooring is so hard you can not shoot a brad nail through the top surface through the board into the subfloor!! Good blade gets er done.

Got this blade specifically to cut Pergo Outlast + flooring to finish off a room. This blade went through the flooring like a hot knife through butter. It was well worth the price for how quick and easy it made those needed cuts. Saved time, aggravation and reduced amount of scrap. Great blade for Pergo!
