I bought this to cut through some old pallet boards that still had nails in it. It worked great! It has a real run kerf so it is great for ripping where the finish of the cut does not matter as much. Definitely recommend using this to keep your expensive finish blades sharp.

I am really hard on blades, I cut through nails, cut aluminum, and sometimes I cut WOOD!They hold up really well under adverse conditions. It is a real treat to install a new blade and cut Through wood like a hot knife cuts through butter. It is hard to trow away a blade too soon because of the price but I also know that Time is Money.
