DIABLOs new Steel Demon Cermet saw blade series is redefining metal cutting and the jobsite, by introducing safer, exclusive innovation that allows users to cut both mild and stainless steels for up to 40X longer life versus standard carbide-tipped metal cutting saw blades. The specially formulated Cermet (Ceramic and Metallic blend) teeth provide high heat tolerances and increased hardness for superior wear and ultimate cutting life. Featuring a special Triple Chip Grind and Perma-Shield coating, these blades slice through the toughest of metals to produce precise cuts and burr-free finishes that require no rework. The thin-kerf body and advanced laser cut anti-vibration stabilizer vents reduce vibration and noise to allow the blades to quickly shear through metal with ease and accuracy. The ability to cut through both mild and stainless steel eliminates the need for individually dedicated saw blades, offering a 1-blade solution for ultimate metal cutting performance and unmatched value story, forever changing the metal cutting industry.
- Cermet (ceramic and metallic blend) teeth provide a high heat tolerance and increased hardness for superior wear and ultimate cutting life, lasting up to 40X longer than standard carbide metal cutting saw blades
- Triple chip tooth design provides burr-free finishes that require no-rework and longer cutting life
- Advanced laser cut stabilizer vents trap noise and vibration for maximum stability, keeping the blade cool for straight, accurate cuts in metal cutting applications
- Tri-metal shock resistant brazing, a 3-metal brazing system, allows cermet teeth to withstand extreme impact for maximum durability
- Laser cut thin kerf design provides less resistance and heat build-up for ease of cut, accuracy and long cutting life in metal cutting applications
- Perma-Shield non-stick coating resists heat build-up by protecting the blade against gumming and corrosion
- Laser cut arbor reduces vibration and premature wear for accurate blade rotation when in use on the saw
- Cuts 1/16 in. to 1/4 in. wall thickness in steel studs, angle iron, flat bar, channel, EMT conduit
- Cuts 1/16 in. to 1/4 in. wall thickness in plate and bar stock
- Cuts 1/4 in. to 1 in. Dia threaded rod

Needed to saw 2 chain link fence posts, wasn’t sure I had the right tools (hacksaw, no thanks). Diablo circular saw blade cut through like butter, 2 minute job!

good with multiple small bites Vs one deep cut

This blade works great . Why buy a metal saw when this blade is a killer?
Deborah Larkin (verified owner) –
Blade is excellent, used it for cutting expanded metal.

Used blade on circular saw to trim 44 metal balusters for stairs. Went right through with no problems and was very durable. Wasn’t dull afterwards

I was pleasantly surprised when this blade chewed its way through commercial grade metal doors like wood. Of course chips were flying everywhere but it kicked butt.

Better than I hoped for.

Cut easily through corrugated metal roofing panels.

Bought this to replace a more expensive blade. Had no idea that it would cut so well. It ripped through 1/4” steel plate in no time! Added bonus it did it queter than the more expensive one

Does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Blade is thicker and more heavy duty than wood working blades, little to no sparks, does not heat up steel, worth every penny.

I had tried to cut some square conduit with a hacksaw (new blade) and it barely dented the conduit after a couple of minutes. The Diablo blade cut through it like butter…with very few sparks and smooth edges that did not burn my hand. Great job!!! Thanks

works very well cutting hurricane shutters(aluminum)

At first I was cutting out sections of corrugated tin roofing for a project using a 4 1/2″ grinder, got frustrated and ordered the “steel demon” blade for my skilsaw. Waited till it arrived, continued with the project, and I was impressed: This blade cut through the tin like butter; the cuts were clean, fast and effortless compared to the grinder cuts. Because of the toothed (?) design, the tin had to be supported to prevent rattling. Have not tried it on thicker metals, but for cutting corrugated steel roofing, this blade gets 5 stars all day long.

This is a great blade to have for all of your metal cutting. I’ve used it for metal sheeting and 1/2 plate.
