I was using a standard abrasive cut off wheel and it is so slow with wide, rough cuts. The D0748CFA is amazing! it cut smooth with little effort. I moved the blade through .125 1.5″ square tubing slow and steady and it worked perfectly. I did not know a saw blade could cut metal like it cuts wood. I will never go back. also did 45 deg cuts smooth edge for quick an easy welding. Making a railing. This is the blade to use!

WOW! – Great blade! 7/14” CerMet blade in my old Skill wormdrive, cutting stainless steel square tube, 2” x 2” x 11ga (.120”). Very clean, easy cuts. Still cutting OK after 25 cuts, might be slowing a bit. I ordered a 2nd blade.

This is a great blade, I used it to cut metal roofing and metal siding for a steel building. I was afraid that because the metal was so thin it might cause some kickback and bend the sheeting but it didn’t at all. Wear a long sleeve shirt when using it though the metal chips can be pretty hot.

I have never used one of these before as I have always used abrasive cutoffs. This blade is worth the money. It cut through sheets of metal as well as my 1/4” metal, cutting like butter. It will leave a lot of metal shavings so have a large magnet or vacuum for cleanup.
