One benefit of using a multipurpose blade is you can move from cutting wood, to plastic to man-made composites without changing the blade. Previously I have used a traditional framing blade for rough lumber and cut-off wheels for plastic and light metals. With this blade you can do both and end up with a nice smooth edge. I think the increased number of teeth help a lot too. As long as you don’t cut heavy metals (those that contain iron) it appears this blade will last a long time.

Several recent projects required polycarbonate plastic to be cut very precisely. (+ or – .004)I was able to do that with this inexpensive blade. To break down a large polycarbonate sheet, I installed this blade in my Ryobi 7.5 inch circular saw and used an Empire level as a straight edge. It performed flawlessly and made a beautiful smooth cut.Using a blowtorch, I made those edges of the polycarbonate smooth as glass on these large cuts. Then for the smaller pieces, I installed this blade in my Rigid 2410 table-saw. This blade worked even BETTER in that machine! When I used this blade in the table-saw, i didn’t even need that extra blow-torch step. The edges were so smooth, that just using plastic-adhesive made the edges glass-smooth.It is hard to imagine a better blade for this purpose, let alone one that is so affordable. If you have ANY plastic to cut, try one of these. It will pay you back in better-quality cuts and saved time.

Used it to cut (5) 4ft x 8ft x 1/16 thick sheets of aluminum, actually cut thru (2) sheets at a time like butter.

I bought this Blade to cut some 3/4″ alumunum plate. I was amazed how fast and easy it cut through it, like a hot knife through butter. I used this blade in my hand held circular saw and it had plenty of power for the blade. You won’t be disappointed in this blade.

The best blade I have used for laminate flooring. Every other blade has burned up in one installation.

Cuts smooth and fast. And though it says “non-ferrous” it managed to cut through steel closet door track with ease.

This blade cut through 1 1/32″ thick slab of aluminum without any hesitation.

Blade cuts aluminum very well. This one is 7 1/4” but works well on a 10” table saw. The smaller diameter slows the surface feet speed of the cutting teeth which minimizes heat build up even when cutting to maximum depth of about 1 1/2”. The teeth are not as fragile as on the 10” 84T blade.

I use this blade to cut billet aluminum pieces. Then I’ll use it for wood, laminate, back to aluminum. I’ve been using it a while and it stays sharp.

I used this blade to cut trex decking with my circular saw. The blade performed flawlessly – clean cuts, perfect edges. Haven’t used this for more than one project, looks like this blade will last me a good amount of time before needing replacement.
