When it comes to saw blades don’t cheap out, buy good quality blades from Freud/Diablo. I’ve already replaced milwaukee blades that came with my tablesaw, miter saw, and circular saws with Freud/Diablo.

This shrunken blades cuts wood, not too surprising. If you want a full 8 1/4, as it should be, keep looking.

I want to cut 6X material in two cuts with my 8-1/4” Skil saw. The blade depth of an 8-1/4” Skil saw should be up to 2-7/8. Unfortunately with an 8” blade (which is what this is) the depth of the cut is only 2-3/4”. That means that you BARELY make it through 5-1/2” stock with two back to back cuts. It is so close but not good enough. I will find a true 8-1/4” blade instead next time.

It’s a Diablo!! That’s really all you have to say. I have it on a King Seely Craftsman table saw from the late 50’s and it cuts like butter!!! I love it and highly recommend any Diablo product.
