The Diablo 8-1/2 in. x 60 Tooth Carbide Circular Saw Blade is made of durable Ti-Co high-density carbide for a design that is durable, razor sharp and long-lasting. The Perma-Shield coating shields the blade against gumming and corrosion. Laser cut stabilizer vents reduce vibration during cutting or ripping.

I put this blade on my Makita 14″ metal abrasive chop saw to cut wood instead. It cut through 3 inches of pine like butter and had a really smooth cut. I have since cut several pieces of wood and it still performs perfectly! I highly recommend this blade. My saw didn’t even slow down the least. My saw is about 15 years old with a 1″ arbor.

Awesome saw blade, as most diablos are. My only disappointment was this was the only 8 1/2” saw blade for sale at HD. At $44, it’s a great blade, but we need more options than that. I don’t always need the top of the line blade. 8 1/2” slides are pretty common. Come on HD, step up the selection
