Diablo’s next generation 10 in. x 80 Tooth Non-Ferrous/Plastics Carbide Circular Saw Blade features new laser-cut stabilizer vents for precise and clean cuts in non-ferrous metals and plastic materials. The advanced stabilizer vents feature a permanent filler baked in from top to bottom for absorbing noise and preventing sideways movement, allowing the blade to slice through materials cleanly, quickly and accurately. Constructed with TiCo Hi-Density special-blend carbide, Diablo’s 10 in. non-ferrous metals/plastics blade produces precise cuts and provides 5X longer cutting life. The laser cut heat expansion slots allow the blade to expand and contract during use, keeping the cut true and straight. This blade is excellent for cutting plastics, brass, aluminum, copper and fiberglass.

Worked really well on cutting my aluminum sheeting for my snow cab, as well as the plastic for the windows, 3/16 inch.

Works great

I bought this for cutting aluminum angle and it worked great in the chop saw. It could trim off 1/8 inch off of the end without distorting the material.

Cuts smoothly. Selected this particular blade as I frequently cut through PVC, plexiglass, ABS, and other plastics. The stock blade that was included with my 10” Dewalt miter wasn’t terrible, in fact for a general purpose blade included with the tool it was pretty solid, had carbide teeth and ripped soft to medium woods pretty well, but it had to be massaged a bit more when cutting plastics. This Diablo has been a good upgrade in that regard. I’m nowhere near as nervous about kickback. It gets marketed as being quieter than standard blades. It could be, and I like the idea of manufacturers looking for ways to reduce excessI’ve noise output, but the mechanism of my miter is so loud already that the difference in ringing from the blade on its own is hard to discern. Which is fine. It cuts a wide range of material very cleanly, which was the primary goal.

The blades arrived late and because of that I could not use the blade for its intended purpose

Purchased this blade a couple of weeks ago. Using this blade on a Ryobi table saw to cut sheet aluminum (1/8″ and 1/16″). The cuts are smooth, and the blade goes through the aluminum with very little force needed. Very much worth the cost.
