Diablo’s next generation 10 in. x 84 Tooth Non-Ferrous Carbide Circular Saw Blade features new laser-cut stabilizer vents for precise and clean cuts in laminates and non-ferrous materials. The advanced stabilizer vents feature a permanent filler baked in from top to bottom for absorbing noise and preventing sideways movement, allowing the blade to slice through laminates and non-ferrous metals cleanly, quickly and accurately. Constructed with TiCo Hi-Density special-blend carbide, Diablo’s 10 in. non-ferrous blade produces precise cuts and provides 5X longer cutting life. The laser cut heat expansion slots allow the blade to expand and contract during use, keeping the cut true and straight. This blade is excellent for cutting laminate flooring, plastics, brass, aluminum, copper and fiberglass.

This blade did exactly what I wanted. Cuts were smooth and easy, while cutting laminate, compared to the blade I had in the saw. I bought two of these, one for my table saw and one for my miter saw. No doubt these will last a lot longer than wider blades with less teeth. Smart investment if you are laying laminate.

I needed to cut a bunch of 1-1/2″ 8020 (extruded aluminum frame) for a test bench. The blade had no problems and made smooth cuts. I usually make these cuts with a band saw, but the band saw was not available and usually didn’t make true cuts. Using the miter saw with this blade worked so well I don’t think I’ll use the band saw for it in the future.

Cuts both aluminum and wood very smooth until it starts to get dull. Ours lasted about a year, 2 major house remodels and aluminum hand rails for about 40 aluminum ramps.When dull it starts to split out the edge of the wood molding but still cuts the pipe ok.
