Diablo ‘s premium HardieBlade 12 in. x 8-Tooth PCD Fiber Cement Saw Blade is the only saw blade recommended by James Hardie. The newly enhanced JamesHardie blade features new laser-cut stabilizer vents for cleaner cuts. The advanced stabilizer vents feature a permanent filler baked in from top to bottom for absorbing noise and preventing sideways movement, allowing the blade to slice through your material cleanly, quickly and accurately. Designed with Polycrystalline Diamond (PCD) tipped teeth, the blade is specially formulated to combat the abrasive properties of fiber cement for exceptionally long cutting life, lasting up to 60 times longer than regular carbide. Super-thin kerf laser-cut blade allows for fast, clean, super thin cuts that reduce reparable dust generation by up to 50% for a cleaner, safer work place. Spark eroded Triple Chip Grid (TCG)-Tooth geometry is specially designed and created using spark erosion dramatically increases the cutting life of the blade in all fiber cement products. Laser-cut stabilizer vents absorb noise and reduce vibration for a cleaner cut and longer life.

We are told that the easy and affordable way to cut hardieplank is turning a regular blade backwards on your saw. Try this blade out and you’ll be happy to spend the extra money. It’s fast, smooth, and quiet.

This made short work if having to cut thru the stucco on my home. For nicely on my Ryobi 18v circular saw.

Worked perfect on cement backer board

When the blade is new it cuts through fiber-cement board like butter. Unfortunately, the blade will quickly dull after so many uses and then it requires replacement. The company Rigid used to make a fiber-cement cutting blade that would last years.

Excellent bald that has not dulled a bit even after cutting many sheets to go around windows and doors, plus my house is not an exact multiple of 12 so cut many 28″ and 51″ lengths to reach the corner

I had been using a lower cost blade that was supposed to be for cutting hardie planks. It cut slowly, generated clouds of dust, and dulled quickly. Wish I’d bought this blade the first time. This blade makes quick cuts, doesn’t wander on the line, pretty clean cut line with just a bit of fuzzing, and it’s still cutting as well as new after doing twice the cuts of my old dull blade. If you have to make more than just a few cuts for a small repair job, just spend the extra money on this blade the first time.
