Diablo’s next generation 12 in. x 80 Tooth Fine Finish Carbide Circular Saw Blade features new laser-cut stabilizer vents for precise and clean cuts in a variety of wood materials. The advanced stabilizer vents feature a permanent filler baked in from top to bottom for absorbing noise and preventing sideways movement, allowing the blade to slice through wood cleanly, quickly and accurately. Constructed with TiCo Hi-Density special-blend carbide, Diablo’s 12 in. fine finish blade produces precise cuts and provides 5X longer cutting life. The laser cut heat expansion slots allow the blade to expand and contract during use, keeping the cut true and straight. This blade is excellent for trim work and projects such as building bookcases, cabinets and shelving.

My Dewalt miter saw came with a framing blade that had made excellent cuts for everything I had needed until I starting to make a desk using cabinet-grade plywood. The framing blade produced some minor tear-out of the thin birch veneer layer on the bottom side of the cuts, so I bought this Diablo 80-tooth finishing blade. What a difference! It completely eliminated all tear-out, and the cut surfaces were so smooth as to not need any sanding. This is an excellent blade, worth every penny.

The saw the blade cut smoothly through oak and walnut. The kerf is not as thin as Freud blades but the finish on the wood itself was very smooth and required no sanding. I don’t know if the blade is as durable as the Freud blades but so far I am very happy with the blade. Would still like the option of buying Freud blades as they have a proven track record.

I have used several different types of saw blades not only im my Chop saws, bat also in my 7 1/4 Skill saw and Sawzall and Diablo is the only blades that perform at a great quality and the prices are the same if not better than any blades on the market. If you have not used these blades I assure you give them a try and you will not be disappointed.
