Diablo’s next generation 14 in. x 84 Tooth Fine Finish Carbide Saw Blade features new laser-cut stabilizer vents for precise and clean cuts. The advanced stabilizer vents feature a permanent filler baked in from top to bottom for absorbing noise and preventing sideways movement, allowing the blade to slice through wood cleanly, quickly and accurately. Constructed with TiCo Hi-Density special-blend carbide, the teeth slice through wood with increased durability, performance and cutting life. Cut from Hardcore Steel with high precision lasers, the blade’s ultra thin kerf design provides fast, effortless cuts. Non-stick Perma-Shield coating protects the blade from heat and corrosion, reduces friction and pitch buildup. Laser-cut stabilizer vents absorb noise and reduce vibration for a cleaner cut and longer life.

I put this blade on my Makita 14″ metal abrasive chop saw to cut wood instead. It cut through 3 inches of pine like butter and had a really smooth cut. I have since cut several pieces of wood and it still performs perfectly! I highly recommend this blade. My saw didn’t even slow down the least. My saw is about 15 years old with a 1″ arbor.

I’ve used one of these blades on my miter saw for about five years now without any issues.I own a 9” table saw and its getting harder and harder to find blades. I picked up another 8-1/2 IN. X 60 TOOTH CARBIDE CIRCULAR SAW BLADE for use on my table saw.So far it performs well with soft and hard woods. It excels at cutting plywood.The only issue I’ve found is the blade is thin kerf which throws off the measurements on my saws’ fence slightly.
