i been using a smaller disk size air grinders before , so i finally got my first electric grinder ,, and bought a single disk cutter to see and test .. and now bought the 10 pack ,, ha of course it’s cheeper … to .. i cut thru metal 1/2″ and pipes and very satisfied with it ,, but if you do it recklessly ,, the wheel will disintegrate in a second … and always keep the shield cover on .. i always try to stand my bod off side of the wheel spin ..

I’ve had more than a few of these and my only complaint is that they seem to chip more easily than other brands, not usually bad if cutting straight, and fixed by continuing to cut straight with light pressure to even the chips out, but at e expense of the remaining diameter of the wheel.For medium and light duty these work just fine. When cutting cast iron and thick steel pipe continuously, these last long only if you cut straight and don’t dare pinch the wheel. If you need to make a few cuts on rebar or nails or bolts or thin plate, these wheels will work fine. Highly recommended for general purpose metal cutoff.

Haven’t used it all that much, but when I have it has worked flawlessly.I’ve ust it to both cut steel rod & to grind/polish welds. Going to buy another soon as I want to have a spare…..just in case.
