I only gave 4 stars because as this was my first experience with the angle grinder/ cutoff tool. It is possible they deserved 5 stars but they seem to wear down quicker than I imagined in my mind based on zero data. So, I was cutting a mobile home trailer frame (lots of light duty 6″ channel cross members and a few 10″ channel main members) Also there was a 1/2″ thick heavy channel near the A-frame hitch and 8 axle spring bolts had to be cut. It took 9 disks out of the 10 pack to complete the work. I was quite satisfied but I am probably delusional to think I could have done all that with 5-6 disks.

Cuts fast because it is very thin, doesn’t have to remove much metal. Discs will break violently if you bend them while in a cut.

Fast cutting but you need to be cautious — if you put too much pressure on them, or the cut closes up and pinches, the wheel will shatter.

Yes with a caveat…one of the best blades out there for stainless steel, cuts well, stays straight, doesn’t discolor the material…but disappears fast! Bought a 10 pack to try and find the ideal feed, speed, etc. After 8 blades, clamping the metal down, no vibration, we could ONLY cut 24″ in 20 gauge stainless per blade. These blades are just really soft. Metabo is still the best metal cutting abrasive blade out there but we still return to these for stainless because they don’t discolor stainless.

Cuts beautifully but is very thin and considerable care is required to prevent the disc from flexing and cutting off course. Still cuts the best of any disc I have ever used, but cutting straight can be a bit more difficult than with thicker discs.

Its great, a store like Home Depot carries a Pro quality item(s) like Diablo cut-off wheels… We are a metal working shop and we have a Home Depot close by and when they started carrying the Diablo brand we gave it a try because we were out of our regular pro stocked items and WOW we were most definitely impressed by the Diablko products, so impressed we buy our metal working Cut-off, Grinding, Sanding, stock from Home Depot now…!
