$16 for a flap disc, I was expecting more from this. Still hard to get into corners. Gets eaten up fast.

In the past I have always used a die grinder with emery cloth cones, they work fine for tight groves or for porting/polishing operations but were always lacking for smoothing or blending inside corners of pipe fabrications or large radius areas. The Diablo corner edge discs fill that need, They don’t dig like normal flap discs on inside corners or groves and they’ve got an aggressive stock removal grit and a good life span.Now they need to put this product out in a few finer grits maybe an 80 and 120 for finishing to complete the line.

This disc worked very well on my 4-1/2 inch Milwaukee angle grinder. I mainly used this to strip old paint from old wrought iron railings with twisted spindles. This worked very well in sanding along the twisted surfaces dmthanks to the rounded edge. I would not have been able to get the same results from a normal flap disc. I wish that Home Depot would carry more grit options for this product. An 80 or 100-grit option would be perfect some other projects I have.

Used this to remove heavy rust inside a 2000 gallon water tank before applying a rust coating/sealer. I didn’t require a polished metal surface. I used the disc after an initial putty knife removal of larger rust flakes were pulled off. One disc completed the entire tank. Worked great for my project.

This is a great disc for cleaning up inside corners. I’mThe only tip I have for this is to use it on a variable speed angle grinder at a lower than max speed.Youll get much better results and it will last a whole lot longer.
