The largest package quantity is the only way to buy…something will come up to use it up and more.I needed it to sand an Abatron ( look it up) epoxy fix..dry part A-B like silly putty, plus liquid A-B…structural product….anyhow…first few passes with 80 gr…loads the paper, so you need a bunch of sheets. There are more expensive products you can load up quickly save ’em for the good stuff.

I used the 80 grit on rough cut cedar wood for a high level sand on a home project. The package claims a 10x longer life, but I only got about the same life as Diablo’s traditional paper sanding discs.Good first – This fabric sands very well and does an excellent job of moving the dust away from the surface. Much better sanding than the paper during use, butThe bad – The fabric wears down quickly and if you don’t pay attention, it will ruin the hook base. The when the fabric breaks down, it disappears more quickly than the usual paper sanding discs and the underlying hook and loop connection quickly gets eaten up. I am guessing this the reason they are including free connecting pad (a hook and loop pad) to use between the orbital sander base and the sanding fabric. The life of the fabric was about the same as the life of the paper disks (from Diablo). So in conclusion, I think it does a much better sanding job, but if you are not paying attention or used to using these, you will likely ruin the hook and loop base.

I was disappointed with the longevity of the discs, but the dust collection was unbelievably good. For reference, I was sanding 2x4s, and used 2x as many discs as I feel I should have. The abrasive wore down quickly, and the edges of the discs were quick to shred off.

These sanding discs work really well. They sand a lot of area and do not clog up like some other discs. The only problem I had was I tended to use them too long before changing them. They work even when they are nearly disintegrated and still stuck to the pad. The problem then is that the remaining fragments are hard to get off the loop pad. If one changes pads before they get too far along, they change easily and work really well.

haven’t used this grit yet, but love the 120 and 220 I’ve used so far…they tend to be more aggressive than normal discs so be careful on how much pressure you use.
