Diablo brand sanding pads are the best I’ve used. The grit stays on the disc longer and gives a more consistent sand.

I always like to have plenty of sanding disks on hand before starting a furniture project. I have purchased the Diablo 5″ disks in various grits and the 100 grit disks always get used in my projects. They seem to have better dust collection when used on my Ridgid ROS than my 8-hole Ryobi ROS. However, the dust collection is adequate on either sander. This package included the bonus Sandnet (80 grit) disks. The Sandnet pads work very well and you don’t have to try to align holes. I will probably buy Sandnet disks in the future if available.

Sands great but doesn’t last very long on metal. I was sanding metal which will wear out sandpaper far faster than if sanding wood.
