I purchased these discs for use in my old 4 inch angle grinder. I’m currently sanding/refinishing a dining set that my fiance and I picked up. They previous owners did horrible paint job and put layers upon layers of pain on the dining table and chairs. We tried using an orbital sanding and our hands previously, and nothing was workingI bought this (as well as the conversion kit) and thought it would be overkill for the job, but you just need to be careful. These discs go a long way for use on wood (which I wouldn’t recommend in all cases). I will probably only be needed two discs to complete the entire project.

I buy these discs frequently to sculpt wood using my angle grinder. They eventually clog with wood fibers but the disc can still be used for metal grinding or even plastic. The 50 grit pads are very aggressive and sturdy.
