Used them for stripping multiple layers of paint off of really old wood siding. They worked awesome! What we estimated would take us five days was done in two days!

I had to redo the kitchen floor so I ripped up the laminate tile and used these discs to grind away at the residue glue on the hardwood floor. The kitchen floor measures 120sqft and used all 4 discs to rip up the glue. It’s probably more effective to use a belt sander but I wanted to give the angle grinder a try. It’s pretty good overall and inexpensive — but not efficient for such a large space. I still recommend.

These fiber discs worked well on my project. I had to sand blistering latex interior paint off of an interior brick wall. Moisture had infiltrated the wall and caused a lot of efflorescence. These fiber discs held up well before I had to change to a fresh disc on my Makita grinder. I didn’t have any tearing of the discs, even on the uneven brick surface. They just wore down at a slow, even pace, until they wouldn’t cut anymore. This was rough work, hence the 36 grit, but the finish was relatively smooth after sanding, having subtle circular scarring from the aggressive grit. Two coats of Behr interior latex eggshell finish with a 1/2″ lambswool roller cover totally concealed the circular “tracks”. I’ll be using these discs again in the near future.
