I used it to sand a severely weathered deck with a hand disc sander. Was able to finish job quickly with 2 discs and no problems.

The package describes the disc for “Grinding and Polishing Metal”. But the back of package also says for wood, plastics and fiberglass. I was looking for something to sand my 10×12 wood deck. I used this disc on an angle grinder/sander. It was a little more time consuming than using a floor sander but alot less expensive than renting one. Bottom line…This disc worked great. Compleated the whole deck with one disc and plenty of grit to spare. It still felt like about 80 grit when done. Sitting on a mechanics creeper made the job alot easier.
