I bought it to cope edges of baseboard trim. It worked well for what I needed it to do.

This flap disc did exactly what I needed it to do. It’s rugged and stood up to the pressure I put on it, to the wood. I took off a good 1/16″ to 1/8″ off a chainsaw cut log, and it smoothed it out better than I expected. Great for flat surfaces, but tough to get into corners or rounded areas. It does take some time to get use to, so you don’t leave scorch marks on the wood. That would be my only criticism.
