Designed for use with an angle grinder, Diablo’s 4-1/2 in. Steel Demon Grinding and Polishing Flap Disc grinds and polishes simultaneously to help you scale down and smooth out metal and stainless steel surfaces. Featuring a new Speed HUB design, this flap disc can be changed quickly, without the use of tools. A conical shape and 80-grit (ultra-coarse) composition combine for 10X faster material removal, leaving behind a shiny surface that gives your work piece a revitalized appearance and/or operational resurgence.

I used this to attach to actually cope crown molding and baseboard. I attached to my DeWalt grinder, which I was skeptical since it’s a huge grinder that requires two hands to use. It worked perfectly coping out crown and baseboard. Much faster then a coping saw (or I suck at using the saw, who knows). I do recommend using a file to get closer and more precise because 12,000 AMPS and this flap disc aren’t made for precision…..I learned the hard way, but on a scrap piece at least. Great purchase and easy to attach to grinder, just screw on.

Great for the metal cleaning and welding buffing I am doing. I am MIG welding with FC wire, so using this flap disc has been great for cleaning the welds. The only down side was it did not fit well into my Ryobi grinder with the shroud on it, that took some time to get it to fit. After i turned it on, the disc was able to grind the troubled areas of the shroud.
