Used this to cut my tiles for a subway tile back splash in my home. Had to go back and open up some plug openings and it worked great cutting the tile. It said for metals but somebody in the store said that it would probably work on cutting tile. Thanks Bob

As always, Diablo is an exceptional brand to buy. Still, a project is only as good as the tools. Considering that my material in question is 1/4” thick aluminum, I did a lot of research and even talked to Diablo about which blade to get for my angle grinder. This blade is NOT approved for aluminum because it will gum up the diamond. However, Lenox didn’t give any other indication as to why their Metal Max blade works for aluminum other than “its diamond plated.” So I bought both to test. Turns out they both gum up. Turns out that Diablo, if used smoothly, with a lot of lubricant, and light, passing strokes PLUS appropriate PPE, wins the longevity contest despite the fact it is not recommended for aluminum. May the Diablo business table present us with a 4 1/2” non ferrous metal blade! Until then, I will carefully adore this blade for its strength as I continue to carefully use it for off label purposes.

I purchased this, based on a recommendation for cutting Vinyl Siding. It creates minimal dust and cuts smoothly. I will try to use it in the future now to cut steel and see if they vinyl siding cutting dulled at all or embedded into abrasive edge.

Very durable blade that cuts literally everything with a reasonable finish. I cut a sidewalk one day and cut some steel rods for a closet the next. After cutting steel and concrete, the blades cut the steel closet rods to an acceptable indoor finish that required little de-burring. I have paid well over twice for other brands of similar blades that barely lasted one job. I’m very impressed with the performance.

Picked up the DIABLO 4.5 in. Diamond Wheel for Metal Cutting 2 pack to cut off the remainder of some steel piping remaining in our poured concrete basement after having an oil tank removed. It was a tough task, but these discs handled it without issue! Highly recommend!
