These blades were amazingly sharp. I was only cutting through a thin panel of wood (1/4″), but it was almost like running a hot knife through butter. Since these cut on the upstroke, be sure to cut the wood from the underside. If you need to put the saw on the face of the wood (the face that will show), then use a downcut blade instead (and I think these come that way if you desire).
