I used it to clearance plywood to flush mount a hinge and it worked great. Clean crisp cuts in marine grade plywood.

I use this bit to make the slots for butterfly houses. I works great. With the old bit It would take five or six passes. With this bit it only takes three or four.

I bought this bit because I don’t have a jointer but I do have a router table,so I used it to get a perfect straight line on some 13/16 pieces that I needed to join up and it worked great,it saved me frombuying a joiner for a small project. So my next tool buy will be,you got it, a joiner.

I used it to slot 1/4″ lexan for partitions, worked well, only draw back if move too slowly the stringers will melt back together and clog up your pass. Pacaking was a bit cumbersome as well.

I purchased this router bit for a certain task (making small slots in plywood panels). Perhaps I ought to have kept on looking. While the flutes edge condition was functional, they were not really as “sharp” as I’d hoped, and the edges of the slots were burned (black spots) where only the flute edges had been in contact with my work. This usually indicates that rather than cutting the plywood cleanly, it rather pushed it out of the way, and therefore the cutting edges got locally hot enough to burn the light colored Birch and structural plies. If I have to do this again, I’d get a spiral fluted version of this cutter, which the Home Depot apparently does not carry.
