I used this to run dados in some drawer sides. Worked great in birch plywood no tear out while cutting .25 deep in one pass.

Very sharp and precise blade. I use it to mortise small hinges. This size is perfect because i can get real close to edges and have very little left to cut out with the chisel.

Used this for cutting the dado grooves for drawers for a router cabinet and they were right on, the quarter inch plywood for the drawer bottoms fit in perfect after only one pass on the router table.

These are currently made by Freud from which I buy many other types of mills and bits from. I use this bit for plywood and MDF in a large CNC router as a backup to my production tooling. It leaves nice clean edges and can be run at 150% rad depth. On my machine, I can cut at 215ipm. Chips are curled nicely and edges are clean. Great product especially when considering it’s purchased from a large box store.

A good bit but didn’t seem any better than a cheaper one from somewhere else.

Mounted in my router table, set up 5″16″ and 1/4″ from the fence, this bit cut the Dado for the plywood drawer bottoms in my curren t cabinet project. It cut poplar, hard maple and red oak with no problems.
