This bit was ultra sharp and did the the job. I was using a trim router and had to take a full 1/2′ depth cut in a single pass (multiple times) Not something I recommend doing but the bit performed very well

As with any Diablo (freud) router bit, the extra cost is worth it. Don’t skimp on an it that will start to leave gouges and ridges after a few uses. The Diablo will stay sharp far longer.
