Used it for multiple mortise cuts in red oak. the bit holds its own and is still sharp. Wouldn’t have an issue picking up another after the one I own expires.

Provides a stable (no wobbling) cut when using my router table as a jointner. Much better that when using a 1/4″ x 1″ straight bit.

I used this bit to prepare 6/4 mesquite boards for joining to make a top for a long cabinet. The bit worked perfectly to clean the edges of three boards and was easy to remove from the chuck after completion. I don’t like the packaging because 1) It was very difficult to get the bit out of the holder and 2) the packaging can’t be reused to store the bit after use. The bit itself works great and it does everything I expected it to do. I plan to get a lot of use from it.

I bought this router bit because I needed a longer shank to be able to mortise four risers for my deacon’s bench so it was at an appropriate height.

It is a work horse cutting out wood But does more chipping and not giving a smooth finish

Cuts like the Devil (pun intended). When used with my (bought at same time) Ryobi 2HP plunge router it cuts without strain and very cleanly. I cut over 70 three inch by four inch interior cutouts (to reduce the weight of a project) in 10 workpieces made of 3/4 inch birch (veneer) plywood using a template (see review of MilesCraft bushing set). The Diablo bit and the Ryobi cut the last workpiece as easily as the first. I followed the instructions of the router which recommended the speed setting and the depth per pass (1/8 inch). Some of the cuts were through two pieces of the 3/4 inch plywood screwed together. No problem – just do 1/8 inch cuts per pass. Worth every penny of the very reasonable price. Generated a whole large shop vac full of shavings. I would recommend using it out doors in a area you don’ t mind getting dusty. Really generates a lot of shavings/sawdust.

Used it to make a bunch of cuts in pressure treated wood. No problems but this seems to do much better in a 3HP router. Was a little too much for my 1 1/2HP.

I just wanted to remove the rounded edges from a piece of common stock. It did the trick

I had not used Freud bits before but decided to give these a try. I Am making several chairs out of oak and this bit cuts through it like a hot knife through butter with a very smooth cut.. I bought two at the same time thinking that they wouldn’t last very long but after completing one chair the bit doesn’t appear to dulled at all.
