I needed to round over a 3/4″ piece of solid oak that will be the top to a bookcase I am building. I tested the Skil brand bit I had on hand (but never used) and it did a horrible job on the scrap piece of wood. Having a lot of good experiences with Freud router bits, I bought this one. It made a smooth perfect cut without bogging down my compact router. I am going to sell my other Skil bits and stick strictly to Freud from now on.

Well it seems Home Depot always wants a review of some product I have purchased but yet to use. All I can say is this round over bit should work just fine for a small project I am working on. I am not a professional carpenter/builder just do some woodworking as a hobby or for repairs in my own home.

It works great. All though the other bit I bought is not working like I thought it would.

The bit is fantastic. Very smooth cuts, no chipping or bits on even the cheap plywood. Price was a little high but if it lasts a good amount of time that won’t be an issue. I have ran over 1000’ of board through it so far and works as good as the day I bought it.

Makes the perfect edge for just that right look.

Diablo router bits just kill it. Don’t take a chance with a cheaper bit and ruin your piece. Spend the extra cash, get the better bit. And who doesn’t like the red, I mean come on. Barring ran smooth, bit had no tear out and had clean cuts.
