Perfect bit for bevelled edges

Worked great for me. Have to make you a router base out of 1/4” Masonite so wide carbide cutters of bit can fit down thru center hole of base.

Good quality bit.

This bit worked exactly as I hoped it would. I used it to miter the corners of a small box I was building. A table saw set to a 45 degree angle might have worked better, but I don’t have one. The bit cuts well and worked well in my router table.

Built well with razor sharp edge. Blade holds edge after many bevels in hard wood

Very nice clean edges even for this novice of the router world.

It is absolutely fantastic and flawless in its performance. I’ve been using this to put a beveled edge on a new desk project and the routing is perfectly clean in walnut.

Get the Diablo and keep on cutting!! I replaced my aging and rotting fence this weekend. I added a rot board so the lawn service guys wouldt tear up the lower part of the pickets again. So I needed 28 2’x6’x16″ treated rot boards and I wanted a 45 degree cut where the pickets sit on top the rot board for a nice clean look the way professional fencing crews do. I started to go buy a cheap 45 degree Chamfer bit from the local, always 20% off coupon, store but couldn’t risk having to replace a bit mid-job with a crew of friends coming over to help do the job. My pine boards were heavily wet treated and it was raining all day on top of it. It cut clean straight lines two day in a row. Highly recommend for any big job where a clean consistent cut is needed.

I have a small Makita compact router i planned to use with this, but it will not fit because the diameter at the top of the cutting surface is too large for the opening in the router bottom plate. It worked great in my large router that has a larger opening.

Great product, I used it for making a chamfer edge to 40+ coasters, and worked great.Used it in a craftsman router set in a router table.Price was also nice.

Freud bits aren’t the cheapest, but they absolutely erase wood. Hardwood, softwood: either feels like it’s not even there when the router bit touches it. Highly satisfied with all Freud router bits I’ve bought. One note about this one: it won’t fit the base plate of many routers. You may have to make a custom temporary base plate.
