I used this bit to construct the base of a mission style lamp in quarter sawn oak. It cut easily and left a smooth finish.

I have made my routing bit of choice always be Freud… they are sharp, stay sharp, and are of superioir quality all around…you get what you pay for! (I’ve used other brands that shred with the first use, not so with Freud).

Great router bit, very sharp. Actually did think it was cutting on first pass because it was so effortless. Smooth/Clean cut. Order online for store pick-up, very smooth transaction.

Had a very unusual application and this bit worked well. This was the right solution for my project. The bit seamed to start getting dull and had some tendency to burn, but as stated it was a very unusual application.

Smooth cut! Long lasting blade.

Easy to use, sharp, downside is that it’s bigger diameter than most small router/palm router collets. So you have to use your big router with the biggest hole, but works great and cuts well.

Worked great! Had to repair my Ron Paulk work bench top. So cut a hole in the surface and beveled the edges with this. Then did the same to piece of wood being used as the repair patch. Now i need to find more things to put a bevel edge on.

This item definitely won’t work with palm routers. It comes in 1/4 inch shank size but the top of the bit is too large for palm routers. It needs to be much smaller did at the top to fit / give adequate clearance with the router housing.
