The up spiral bit left a beautiful cut finish when cutting through plywood, on the finished side, when cutting from the bottom side.

Works great in my plunge router to cutting deep into wood and cleaning shavings out of the hole leaving a very smooth cut. Spiral bits will always cost more than single or double flute bits but these are worth it for leaving good finishes and no chatter.This bit won’t come packaged in the usual red and black case that is great for storage and bit protection unfortunately.
