DIABLO’s new 3-Piece General Purpose and Metal Carbide Reciprocating Blade Set consists of 1 Demo Demon blade for General Purpose and 2 Steel Demon blades for metal cutting, including high strength alloys, cast iron and stainless steel. This combination carbide reciprocating blade set allows PROs to facilitate fast teardowns of walls and framing materials; and slice through metal so you can quickly dismantle a variety of pipes, bars and beams up to 9/16 in. thick. DIABLO’s high performance carbide set delivers unmatched 50X longer cutting life than standard bi-metal blades, greater durability in cutting applications and an oversized body height for straighter cuts with less vibration.

Man, this blade cut rite through the 3/8″ stainless bolt, I began to cut and I thought nothing is happening, pulled the blade away and the bolt fell rite off, wow and the blade still looks new

After seeing the blade appear to cut 4” cast pipe in thirty seconds I bought one.But: Yes, it cut the pipe. Yes, the cut was clean. And yes, the teeth were still intact after the cut. But: The cut took over thirty minutes. And that’s unacceptable. In fact, unless I placed significant pressure against the work, by bearing down on the Sawsall’s back—pressure enough to slow the saw—no cutting took place.Very disappointing.

The saw blade works really well, has a touch of trouble starting to dig into the cut for a few seconds but once it gets in there it cuts through well enough.
