I own and use Diablo circular saw blades so I was excited about trying the Diablo 6 inch Steel Demon Amped reciprocating saw blade. I was not disappointed! This blade chewed through everything I could throw at it. I had to do some demo work on a fence and of course I had nails & screws everywhere. The Diablo Amped blade cut without any hesitation and was was virtually unscathed. The blade design and construction is first rate and it is Swiss made. The teeth are offset so there’s no clogging or gumming up. For a general purpose demolition blade you just can’t go wrong with this Diablo 6″ blade.

The Diablo 6” Thick Metal Blade cuts well. It is high strength and makes quick work while cutting pipe. They are high quality and like all Diablo products, are engineered well and perform as advertised. I have only done a couple of cuts so far and am wondering how many more I can get before it gets dull. So far so good. I will recommend this blade to anyone in need of a fine cutting blade for there reciprocal saw.

Wow! The Diablo Steel Demon Amped Metal Blade is a beast. It cut through EMT conduit with ease in under 10 seconds. I also used it to cut down a steel t-post. Since it was thick steel, it took a bit of muscle but it went through without a problem. I used it with a battery powered reciprocating saw. An electric one would make it even quicker, I’m sure. I have yet to be disappointed with Diablo blades.

I’m positive it will pass the test on metal …because other Diablo blades have not disappointed…I purchased it for the tooth pattern – I wanted a smooth pruning cut on my trees – the chain saw was a little rough but this was a good choice

I have been a big fan of Diablo circular blades for years and these new reciprocating saw blades do not disappoint. I had a few fairly thick pieces of metal that I needed to cut up and scrap so I figured it would be the perfect time to try this blade out. It arrived quickly and well packaged. These say they are carbide tipped and are about 2x the thickness of a standard reciprocating blade that I’m used to. The tooth count is much lower (8 tpi vs 18 tpi) then I usually use for metal cutting. I put the blade in my 20v saw and went to town cutting up the metal. I cut angle steel from 3/16” up to 3/8” and this blade cut right through without issue. I did end up breaking the tip off the blade when cutting a piece off a trailer frame, but that was completely user error due to not setting the foot on my saw to prevent the blade from hitting a steel plate behind what I was cutting. After about 6 hits the tip snapped off. I was still able to continue using the blade to finish the job though. The blade cut quickly and shows no discernible wear on the cutting teeth so I expect it to last for a few more jobs at least. Overall I’m very happy with the blade and will continue to purchase diablo blades as my needs arise.

I received the DIABLO 6 in. 8 TPI Steel Demon Amped Carbide Thick Metal Cutting Reciprocating Saw Blade. Part number DS0608CFA. It’s made for 3/16″ to 9/16″ Cast Iron, High Strength Alloys and Stainless Steel. I was able cut a piece of hot rolled flat bar 3/8 ” thick x 2 ” wide while holding the reciprocating saw with one hand in under 23 seconds, and the cut is very clean with little to not wear at all to the blade. Diablo is aways top on my list for saw blades and drill bits.

Living on the Western Slope of Colorado, we have miles of jeep trails traversing high mountain passes. We acquired a ’81 jeep to make these trips and sought the advice of a friend and jeep expert. In checking out the jeep, Jim noticed the long threaded areas on u-bolts that attach the leaf springs to the axles. When four wheeling the long bolts could be bent on rocks near their nut making them difficult to remove. He advised us they should be cut off leaving 1/2 to 3/4 in thread below the nut.I acquired and attached the Diablo blade into my reciprocating saw and was amazed how well the blade took on these 1/2 inch bolts. I had to cut 10 of the 16 bolts off and only until I reached the last one did I notice it took a bit longer and maybe the blade was getting worn. I cut off all 10 within 30 minutes (just imagining what it would take using a hack saw). I am impressed with this blade along with other Diablo products I have purchased from HD. It made what looked like a difficult job easy.
