The latest addition to DIABLO’s Steel Demon Carbide reciprocating blade family is the industry’s first carbide teeth blade for thin metal conduit and tubing. A proprietary high performance carbide formulation extends the cutting life up to 50 times longer, making this the most efficient cutting solution in thin metal conduit and tubing applications. The blade’s optimized tooth count effortlessly rips through thin metals with ease, producing clean cuts that require virtually no rework. A 1 in. blade body height provides the rigidity and stability needed for straight cuts with less vibration.
- High performance carbide for greater durability and up to 50X cutting performance in thin metal conduit and tubing
- Optimized 12 TPI tooth geometry cuts out rework by producing clean, smooth cuts
- Enhanced carbide to blade connection for extreme impact resistance
- 1 in. oversized blade body provides stability and rigidity required for straighter cuts with less vibration
- Perma-SHIELD resists heat build-up by protecting the blade against gumming and corrosion

DIABLO 6 in. 12 TPI Steel Demon Carbide Thin Metal Conduit Cutting Reciprocating Saw Blade is the perfect addition to my husband’s arsenal of tools. He is a handyman and has his own company. He will be able to use this blade as seen in the photos I have posted in doing many of the jobs that come up in his business. It is quite durable and good quality.

The Diablo 6″ 12 tooth per inch carbide thin blade does an excellent job on lighter gauge metal. The thinner the material you are cutting the smaller the tooth count you should use. This yields a smoother cut and will not grab the material like blade with a smaller tooth count. Demon did a great job of matching the blade thickness to the tooth count on this 6″ carbide saw blade. Carbide is a huge plus to long lasting blades. The bull nose of these Diablo Demon carbide blade will not “stab” into the work piece if you pull the blade back to far while cutting. I let the weight of the saw create the blade feed. Also watch the chip size and color, if they are powder size you are cutting to softly and if they are blue or purple you are creating to much heat. If the material real thin you may have to hold the blade back a little so it does not cut to fast. Note the clean flush finish on the metal tubing in the photo, nice smooth cut and finish. you will also note my jig, it is important to hold the work piece being cut firmly. Get several different length and tooth counts for different metal thickness and size of material being cut. Enjoy these blades.

The Diablo Steel Demon is a excellent Sawzall blade that can be used for numerous projects especially with the 12 TPI Carbide teeth. Its versatility works well with many metals such as conduit, metal roofing, plastic pipe, aluminum siding even sheet rock to name a few. Its a well built blade, having a taller blade gives it more stability for a vibrationless cut so the blade won’t wander. Laser like cut every time.

Diablo makes quality blades all around. This reciprocating saw blade is no exception. It is thicker then most of it competition so it doesn’t have the tendency to bend as much as some discount blades to depending on what you are cutting. The blade is very easy to use since it is universal fit. It seems to last a little longer then typical blades do. I recommend this blade and will buy more once I wear this one out over time.

The Diablo Steel Demon 6″blade cuts right to the chase for durable cutting of conduit, metal or plastic, sheet metal, sheet rock. With the 12 TPI Carbide teeth on a extra tall blade, its very stable and doesn’t vibrate and supplies a nice true cut depending on the material your working on. Its super strong and should last a lot longer then the cheaper blades on the market. Truly a great value.

so i personally thought that this was good product the only thing i would say is after it gets hot the teeth start getting soft and gets burn easy. however if you have it on a “one cut at a time” type of deal this blade will last a long time

It’s a very sharp saw blade but, on the first use, three teeth came off.

The Diablo 6 inch 12 teeth per inch carbide blade is one of the nicest blades i have used in my Sawzall. The blade fits the tool-free chuck well, and does not slip out. The blade is thicker than most blades I have used before, providing a wider kerf, but also far less chance of bending or breaking should the blade bottom out, or hit something on the other side of what you are cutting. The packaging is very simple, and leaves little waste to dispose of (which is nice, when compared to how much packaging so many other tools leave you with). The carbide teeth should provide for long life and predictable cuts.Pros: carbide teeth, thick blade.

This Diablo 6 in. 12 TPI carbide blade fits nicely in my Cordless Milwaukee Reciprocating Saw. Where other blades may not. It functions with no real difference and if the life of this blade is as good as my Milwaukee blades and the cost is lower then I will be saving a ton of money on blades. I have purchase other Diablo blades and have been more the satisfied, I hope youwill be too.

I had experiences with diablo 7-1/4″ circular saw blades. After getting one, I never went back to other brands. This reciprocating saw blade seems to follow in their product line footsteps. For one, diablo is the only brand I know of that manufacturers their own carbide specifically for their carbide blades. Further, most slide through stock due to Perma-SHIELD non-stick coating for less heat and friction. This blade also features solid carbide creatingfull barrier to heat resistance for maximum durability. The carbide strip teeth are milled t for smoother quality cuts. My cuts had less binding, less jagged edges. I had a bunch of steel and aluminum pipe to cut up along with some other metal. I let loose on this blade to see how much abuse it would take. Even after this, although I finally wore off the coating, the teeth were fine. Like my circular blades, I think this is what I will be buying going forward.

I selected this carbide reciprocating saw blade to compare to other high end bi-metal blades. I compared it to 14 and 24 TPI big metal blades for cutting thin wall conduit (0.06″ wall) and 0.08″ heavy weight metal strapping. All of the blades cut well with the 12 TPI Diablo and the 14 TPI bi-metal cutting faster than the blade with smaller teeth. There was no noticeable wear with any of the blades so I cannot address the claim that these blades will far outlast other blades but I can say the Diablo blade works very well and produces a very clean cut.
