Diablo’s Steel Demon carbide strip reciprocating blades are the first carbide strip blades designed for extreme thin metal cutting in materials such as high strength alloys, cast iron and stainless steel. The blade’s solid strip of carbide creates a full barrier to heat resistance for maximum durability. This high performance carbide strip blade delivers unmatched 20 times longer cutting life than standard bi-metal blades in extreme thin metal cutting applications less than 3/16 in.

Used for cutting 1″ hard alloy all-thread rod. Use high saw speed and keep cutting oil on the cut. Moderate down pressure only. Clean cutting and easy to control. Impressed with use. Worth the extra cost. Wear ear and eye protection always!

Normally I consider most makes and brands of consumer items to be about the same. So when I got my Diablo blades, I expected them to perform about the same as other blades I have used. I was pleasantly surprised. These blades did not bend under pressure nearly as much as others. They cut right through everything I tried to cut and didn’t even slow down. There is a noticeable difference between Diablo blades and others. I won’t be using anything else.

This blade is awesome! I have only used it a couple of times but, I am very impressed with the way it cuts and holds up to nails. I also use it to cut plastic pipe and it cuts very straight and clean. It performs better than any of the others I have tried in the past. High Five Diablo!
